Rory Skinner and Cheshire Mouldings Ducati consolidated third place in the BSB standings following round 5 of the 2025 Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Brands Hatch in Kent.
Although there were no podium finishes for the Scottish rider this weekend on the TAS Racing-prepared V4 Ducati Panigale, three consistent results [8-6-6] contributed valuable points and data for the team, going into round 6 at Thruxton in two weeks’ time.
Series rookie Edoardo Colombi faced a challenging weekend in the British Supersport class aboard the Ducati Panigale V2, taking a brace of top 20 finishes [19-16]. There is certainly more to come from the young Italian.
“As we reach the halfway point of the season, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our partners Cheshire Mouldings, Milwaukee, IAA, FonaCab and everyone else who support us. We are extremely grateful to Ducati for providing us with the opportunity to once again challenge for podiums and victories in the British Superbike Championship. Our riders and every team member are doing a first-class job, and we look forward to more success throughout the remainder of the season.”
RORY SKINNER – #11
“As much as we have maintained third place in the championship standings it was a frustrating weekend for me. A solid enough performance but I just didn’t have the pace to run at the front in the races, despite showing strong in the early sessions; but that happens at this level of competition and 8-6-6 isn’t a disaster by any means.”
EDOARDO COLOMBI – #32
“It was a difficult weekend for sure, and the conditions made it a lot harder for me. Not the results we wanted but we made some more direction with the bike, which is a positive, so we can now look forward to the next round. Thank you to everyone for all the support this weekend in the garage.”
